purple snow @purpledawn and full moonsets—tinsel, glitter, frost. the parlour palm is at it again. snowdrifts, blizzards. chipmunk (or a red squirrel). white, white hares with charcoal ear tips. the deer, mice, bluejays, chickadees, owls, coyotes, ravens, 100huddled geese, northern flicker, crows, skunks, porcupine. lots of tracks and a sundog.  moon, 13 october 2013 comet ison is not to be seen.
