this was difficult! pinching flowers off! ... trying to facilitate the ripening of what are atm, big green tomatoes. only one, a hint of red. autumnal, time's turning.
A LOT of cedars & juniper didn't survive winter. Last year, it got cold suddenly. leaves just froze on trees.
again. this one is a blanket. there have been granule flurries, light rains, pellets, ice crystals in the air, drizzle and mist (last week), fogs and winds. with a few clear days. what is blue? a 2013 project: taking a shot of the full moon every month, which adds up to one group of 12 moons, in a year of comets. it's been too overcast. that was the one & only one, so far. just as well. the frost is trippy. besides. April snow.ers jackrabbits: their backs are smoothing in colour, nice grey carapaces.
Californias, they're back. About a week now. (sounds) how d'ya like that. hibiscus in bloom is in the Malvaceae family, like hollyhock.
